Clothes can communicate attention without costing a fortune. Check the weather, venue and dress expectations before leaving. A muddy walking jacket may be excellent on a hill and less excellent at an anniversary dinner.
Choose clothes that fit comfortably and are clean and ready. Style is personal; this is not a uniform or a shopping mandate.
